Back From Hell
I got back from the hell of London the other weekend and while I was there I saw some old friends and caught up with what's been happening. I saw my family and that is always good, but it doesn't really feel like I belong there now. But like someone said to me a while back, you're born on planet earth, so the whole world is your home.
I'll be off to New York in five weeks and I'm looking forward to it. A friend of mine, Dan, will be coming too and he's never been, and it's always good to see the City through the eyes of someone else. You get to show them around and show off what you've already learnt. Hopefully New York will give me some inspiration for writing. Hopefully, one day I'll get to live there for six months, maybe a year and write a book. One day.
Was out last night in Plymouth with some friends and everything seemed weird. The whole of mutley seemed filled with little people. There was tiny Glam rock guy, whose legs seemd to short for his body and minature Billy Piper who was working behind the bar in a pub we were drinking in. Then later Billy Piper turned up in another pub we were drinking in and she was very loud. I felt like a drunk Gulliver.
Still trying to finish BURNT FACE and will hopefully get it done soon. It's experimental, but I'm pleased with it.
Read out a true tale I wrote to my writing group last Tuesday and they really liked it. So I'm trying to find a magazine to send it to. Have sent it to Arena Mag.
Well, Happy writing,
Mark Yarwood

My writing a mission statement Site
Mark, You bring the name Mark Yarwood into ill repute. What a load of twaddle and self indulgent bull **** . Just please stop wallowing in this academic vortex, look outside and get a life. If you spent this much time focusing on other people than yourself, you could enrich the life of others, rather than this sad parody of a man who lives under a bridge. Your not an author, or unique in anyway. Throw away your CD's, change your friends and find a new place.
